It's an accepted fact that volunteering is not an easy job
especially in Africa. It involves both anxiety and excitement. There are many
programs to choose from just like the Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa,
Uganda etc. Each program has its own importance to the society providing socioeconomic
changes all over the globe.
Now, let’s have a discussion on all this programfirstly
about the Ethiopia program, in this program the volunteers will be responsible
for teaching the street children English and mathematics .Which involve games,
songs and fun activities also. The Kenya project makes a difference in the
lives of underprivilegedchildren and adults by providing education and
counseling them in school and orphanages,HIV education and medical care.
Third program is to climb mountain Kilimanjaro and raise
funds to help the children in Kenya which is truly a mark of excellence. Forth program
is to facilitate processes to eradicate poverty, reduce HIV infections and
capacity building programs in Rwanda. South Africa youth assists the social and
academic development of young people in Venda and Soweto helps in educating the
HIV orphans and help the needy family by gaining their economic independence is
the fifth one. Lastly, Ghana which makes a difference in the life of underprivileged
children and adults by providing education and sharing their life skills.
From the above details now we have come to this topic that Africa voluntariado is an amazing
experience with different communities of the people. The main areas of
volunteering include: teaching and tutoring, extra-curricularactivities,
participation in a feeding program, providing feedback and handover reports.
